As part of the Centre's research capabilities for problem solving, we provide the following consulting services to the industry:

Transformer failure investigations

Assessment of:

• Moisture state of transformers
• Insulation and oil condition of transformers
• Remaining life of transformers

Consulting on effectiveness of on-line oil processing for
transformers:

• Dryout
• Reclamation

Test-bed services (conducted at Monash):

• Testing and assessment of commercial on-line and off-line monitors, sensors and measurement devices for transformer diagnostics
• Testing and assessment of commercial on-line transformer oil processing equipment.
