2nd CPTM Seminar
On 7 September 2007, in Brisbane, the Centre has delivered a professional training seminar to the Sponsors and UJV Members. Current research results of the Centre have been presented. A live demonstration of a remote controlled overloading of the Monash Special Test Transformer via the Internet has been conducted. Future research directions of the Centre have been discussed. 68 staff of 7 Sponsor and UJV organisations have attended. To view the seminar program click here.
3rd CPTM Seminar
The next Centre seminar will be held at Monash University Clayton on Thursday, 22 November 2007. The 9:00 to 11:00 Session will be organised jointly by the Centre and the IEEE Power Engineering Society Chapter of Victoria for both sponsors and non-sponsors. The 11:00-16:00 Session will be conducted for the Sponsors and UJV Members only. To view the seminar program click here
Formation of Technical Advisory Group
The Centre has determined that a Technical Advisory Group should be formed to assist in the development of the Centre, to enhance the technical alignment of the Centre to industry requirements and to promote the Centre to the industry as a “Centre of Excellence” in transformer monitoring, diagnostics and life management.
1st Meeting of Technical Advisory Group
