Testing Lab

The Transformer Testing Laboratory (Testing Lab) was built at Monash University Clayton in 2006. The facility features a test transformer equipped with the dedicated control system and two monitoring systems – an in-house built multi-channel data acquisition system and a commercial Dynamic Ratings Monitoring Control and Communication (DRMCC) unit.

New acting Centre Director

Jan 2011, Monash University, Head of Department Professor Arthur Lowery is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr Dan Martin as the acting Centre Director.


Centre staff presented their research to industry

23rd and 24th November 2010, Monash University, Centre staff presented their research to industry. The outcomes of using vegetable oils, insulation dryness studies and thermal work was presented to our sponsors.

2nd CPTM Seminar

7 September 2007, Brisbane, the Centre has delivered a professional training seminar to the Sponsors and UJV Members. Current research results of the Centre have been presented.
